Tap "Add to Home screen"

Select "Add to Home screen" from the menu. You may be able to rename it — type Donut of Time or anything you like.

Tap "Add" — done!

Open the app and enter your start/end dates. Tap the title to rename it. Let it update to show your real countdown numbers.

Android: Press Volume Down + Power simultaneously.
iPhone: Press Side Button + Volume Up simultaneously (Face ID models) or Home + Power (older models).

Set as wallpaper

Android: Open your Gallery → find the screenshot → tap ⋮ menu → "Set as wallpaper" → choose Lock screen or Home screen.
iPhone: Open Photos → find the screenshot → tap the Share ⬆ icon → "Use as Wallpaper" → choose Lock Screen or Home Screen.
